Just rip off, bad quality
Bestes Fondue ever! Benny for ever!
Delicious food, pleasant atmosphere
I can recommend everyone who loves cheese ?
Generous portion, reasonably priced, cozy atmosphere
Absolutely amazing cheese fondue and such friendly service. Highly recommend.
Super location, small and cozy. For larger groups it is a must to reserve here in advance. The service is definitely resilient, we tested that ;-) We had both cheese and meat fondue that evening and both were delicious. I will definitely come back here!
Great place for fondue! Simply amazing. Super friendly staff and delicious food!
Good food friendly and attentive service
Really good place, you need a reservation as there is only ~10 tables. Service is super nice and the space is quite cozy! Portions are BIG - one fondue will be more than enough for 4-5 people. I definitely want to go again and try a different fondue ?? (on the picture: provenzal fondue, rosemary potatoes, grilled vegetables and bread bites)
Reservation is needed. Very nice cozy place only 10 table. Fondue is so good, personally I think better than in Switzerland. The cheese is puffy, a bit too salty but still great. The food we ordered are all nice. Salad and mushroom is good. Kaiserschmarrn is also very good..( the best for us so far). Hazel snap is great for finishing the meal. Everything is good so we book the table again tomorrow. Tip: if u come from Thailand, 1 cheese fondue can feed 3-5 persons easily.
Call in advance to reserve the table as it’s not a big restaurant but very cozy and nice atmosphere. Cheese fondue is so good and much better than Switzerland. Salad is also very fresh and good. They don’t have English menu but they explain everything clearly. We try Müncher Dunkelbier and order mushroom as side dish. Kaiserschmarrn is the best we had in Munich :)
We had ordered herbs and cheese salad and cheese spaetzle here and then expected more for the price. The work is very nice, especially when there are two in the back in the corner. The cheese fondue seems to be very tasty, but I wouldn't come back for normal dishes.
Food: 5 * Very delicious cheese fondue in different variations as well as good drinks with their own note. There is also nothing wrong with the side dishes. Service: 4.5 * Friendly and attentive staff. Our bread for the cheese fondue was refilled free of charge. Location: 4.5 * Cozy, rustically furnished restaurant. It is advisable to make a reservation before visiting. Value for money: 4 * Prices for the different cheese fondues are fair and okay. The portions are also big enough and good cheese is used for the fondue. The drink prices are sometimes a bit high (for example € 6.50 for a bottle of mineral water).
You need to reserve in advance. The place is cosy, romantic, cheesy and tasty. The basic cheese fondu is about €17 p.p
In the Winter you can enjoy tasty cheese fondues!
The best Cheese Fondue, we ever had. This is the reason we will be visiting quite often if time and occasions permit us. We had Fondue Provoncal, has perfect spicy taste due to the herbs and botanicals. As Fondue Lover, I must say better than in Switzerland as we had different Fondues in Switzerland, they are not fluffy and very expensive. The restaurant is small but very cozy. Friendly service staffs and good choices of wine. Perfect for a dinner date and big small groups.
If you like fondue we love the Gärtnerplatz Alm! Most dishes are filled with cheese fondues (e.g. truffles, herbs, etc.). So it is very easy for vegetarians to find something there. There is also a broth for meat. The best thing is to go with several people and order different fondues. But definitely reserve in time! And: leave yourself space for the Kaiserschmarrn ??
- disgusting cheese fondue with sickness after eating it - don't know how one can make so much wrong with cheese fondue (strange spices, looks terrible, tastes like super cheap industrial (not real) cheese) - this is the worst cheese fondue I have tasted in my life - wine was warm not cold
Cozy and quaint! Top fondue and beer!
delicious cheese fondue. Very nice staff. Pleasant atmosphere.
Best place in munich to eat fondue and have a beer
Great little place for Fondue! I would recommend reserving a table, as it seems to be very popular - understandably. The various cheese options all sound great, we only had two though. And I have to admit the dark beer version was great. Definitely worth a visit and I’m sure we’ll be back.
Reserved two weeks ago, arriving at the store, you are informed that the reservation does not exist. Confirmation via Quandoo doesn't help either, rather the reservation was canceled shortly beforehand by the restaurant. We stood in the restaurant as ordered and not picked up, an alleged system error was put forward, no apology. Bad service, I won't be back here for sure. Edit to the answer of the owner: we were treated with exactly this snippy way yesterday. The "alternative table" would have been a gap filler for 1.5 hours. That simply makes no sense with a sociable meal like a fondue. Especially since after such a short-term cancellation on the part of the restaurant, I am certainly not interested in filling a table that is temporarily unoccupied in order to increase sales. An apology didn't come out of my mouth and the bottle of wine doesn't help if I simply don't want to drink it. All in all, it was simply unprofessional - and we were finally able to make our way home again. This one encounter was enough for me.
Very good food in a great restaurant! Value for money is good too! Clearly recommended
Very cool restaurant. Small, nice, watchful and extremely tasty. The other guests were very pleasant! Gladly again
Greate place. You must try the licuire of the house - absolute anazing
5 stars to everything. To the fondue. To the service. To the place where we felt so comfy! We will for sure come back!
Very tasty, good service. Friendly and funny. Great selection of different fondues.
Simply wow for the Cheese Fondue. So fluffy! And such nice service!
Cool place with great food. Especially fondue
Goo atmosphere, good service but the fondue was just ok...
Awesome atmosphere and the waiter was super helpful even though we didn't speak German. Great find!
Great service Delicious food Relatively long waiting times Prices maybe a bit too expensive All in all a nice evening spent Early reservation absolutely necessary because of very high demand
Not the BEST fondue I’ve had, but definitely very good. The service was great as well.
A good variety in cheese fondues and a meat variant as well. Friendly and forthcoming staff!
Unfortunately, you have to book a relatively long time in advance, because the store is not so big and well visited. But it was worth it: the cheese fondue was delicious, the service was very nice and the ambience was perfect.
Best place to have Fondue in Munich! The fondue is very good. We tested the traditional one & the one with beer. They were both delicious! You can also have supplements (vegetables...) if you want. The local is small, it's better to book before. Staff is very friendly.
Really good fondue. They have all sort lf fondue and after trying 3, i would recommend to try the one based from bier. As you are in Germany, it is worth the try. Not necessary to take sides as there are some automatically coming. Good kaiserscharm if you still have place to go.
Fantastic food service and atmosphere the best
A good place! I really liked the cheese fondue, there are several kinds of them, you can order a variety of snacks, baked potatoes, mushrooms, vegetables, and a whole bunch of other things, now! Pleasant service, the waiters speak excellent English, the prices are acceptable, the average for Munich. The place is popular, it's better to reserve a table, on a weekday you can book a day a day, for a weekend it's more difficult.
Goods were there and had a very nice evening. Delicious cheese fondue. Prices lifted. Somewhat cramped seats. Warning about the hazelnut brandy makes the day after a strong headache ?
I was for the 50th. A good friend here and the food and ambiance were phenomenal. There was the cheese and meat fondue. Both tasted very good, but we had to reorder the cheese fondue. For meat fondue there was beef, chicken, zucchini, peppers and mushrooms. To the cheese fondue there was fruit (fresh and delicious) and bread (in many different variations, including Bretzel). For dessert there was then Kaiserschmarrn (without raisins, so I mean it also delicious) which has rounded the whole. Correspondingly round our bellies were then :-) The ambiance was cuddly and pleasant. The seating was comfortable and the toilets clean. Can I really recommend it!
Great fondue experience in a cosy setting. They have a selection of cheese fondues and one kind of meat fondue. I recommend making a reservation as they are small and usually fully booked. In addition to the food they have a good selection of drinks from their bar. Fondues are available in winter only though. In summer they have a different selection and you can take take away drinks to enjoy on Gärtnerplatz!
Amazing fondue and excellent service!!
Super.
Cheese Fondue... You will love it. The restaurant is very small, so reserve to fall in love with the different fondues. Definetly worth to go! Staff is friendly. A good place for an evening with friends or a romantic dinner.
Friendly service and large portions. We found that the 2-person fondue was enough for at least 3. The Käsespätzle were also really good.
Amazing fondue, amazing service. Defo worth the price! Highly recommend
Very good cheese fondue. Place is nice and cozy. Highly recommended.
